Sit Spots are colorful, removable, and they velcro wherever our students need them. In a classroom that moves and grooves, we learn in many areas around the room. Students need to know where their spot is on the carpet no matter where we move to. Sit spots would be great for whole group instruction, small group instruction on the carpet, and our favorite time of day....cozy reading before dismissal. Sit Spots allow students to have personal space, know where to sit, and allow for better arrangement in the classroom. This alternative to duct tape (which ruins carpet) would be utilized daily for easy transitioning and organized layouts for learning. Help us keep our learning "spot on"!

For many students sitting still in a traditional classroom chair for an entire school day presents a challenge. Without an opportunity for movement and a way to get their wiggles out, their productivity and concentration can be inconsistent. WittFitt Noodle chairs allow students to improve their posture and core strength and optimize their attention and productivity constantly throughout the day by providing a way for students to wiggle while they work. Research has shown that there is a link between movement and academic performance. "Children who are raised in stimulating, active environments produce more neural connections in the brain" (Bruer, 1991). In addition to the benefits Noodle chairs provide students, they are a nice transitional option for flexible seating as they are a regular chair that can move. Noodle chairs would give my students an opportunity to wiggle while they work.
